Tylor Ongwae is a 199 cm forward who can score in various ways. He is long and athletic, and has a great one or two dribble pull-up or step-back shot from mid-range. Tylor is outstanding in getting into the lane and playing off two feet to create his own shot or to get teammates in position to score. His biggest strength on offense is his mid-range game where he can face-up and use his athletic ability to elevate over defenders and shoot, or drive and finish with either hand around the basket. Tylor is a coachable player who keeps it simple and reads defense well. He runs the floor well and makes excellent decisions in transition or half court offense. He is a solid on-the-ball defender where he uses his size, athletic ability, and footwork to stop perimeter players from driving or shooting over him. When guards are being pressured, he brings the ball up the floor and has the ability to start his team’s offense.
