Jaye Crockett is a 201 cm (6’7”) long, athletic, crafty, and versatile slashing power forward. Jaye is outstanding in getting into the lane and playing off two feet to create his own shot or to get teammates in position to score. His offensive strengths are ability to drive and finish around the rim, create his own shot by using shot fake, step-back and pull-up moves, and getting offensive rebounds and put-backs. Jaye can face-up and use his high IQ and skills to score, or drive and finish with either hand around the basket. He is capable in playing pick and roll as a screener and/or ballhandler, which makes him a very versatile and hard player to defend. He is highly coachable and keeps it simple as he reads defense well. Jaye runs the floor well and makes excellent decisions in transition or half court situations. He is a versatile defender who uses his experience, athletic ability, and footwork to stop power forwards or perimeter players.

During 2024/2025 season, Jaye played for Keravnos in Cyprus. He averaged 14 points and 6 rebounds per game, and lost in the Finals,

After playing for 3 months for Akita in Japanese top league, Jaye signed to play for Keravnos in Cyprus. He won the Cyprus Championship and Cup, and averaged 14.6 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. He shot 62% from the field, 35% behind the 3-point line, and 81% from the free throw line. Jaye was named Cyprus League MVP and 1st Team ALl-Cyprus League selection. He signed an extension with Keravnos for the upcoming season.

During 2022/2023 season, Jaye played for Finnish champs, Kauhajoki. Kauhajoki made it to the semi-finals of FIBA Europe Cup and Jaye averaged 12.3 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game. He led the team in efficiency (17RNK) and shot 62% from the field, 51% from behind the 3-point line, and 79% from the free throw line. Kauhajoki won the Finnish Regular Season and lost in the Finals. In January 2022, Jaye signed to play for the most accomplished Swedish club, Sodertalje Kings. They finished the regular season in 3rd place and made it to the semi-finals of Playoffs. On the season, Jaye averaged 13.4 points, 10 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game, and led Swedish league in efficiency. He was named All-Swedish Basketligan 1st Team selection. During 2020/2021 season, Jaye played for Greek club Peristeri in Basketball Champions League. He averaged 11 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. He had 19 points against Lithuanian powerhouse, Rytas. Highlights from that game are below:

During 2019/2020 season, Jaye played averaged 9 points and 6 rebounds per game for Astana in VTB league. Prior to it he averaged 9 points and 6 rebounds per game in 18 minutes per game for SE Melbourne Phoenix in Australian top NBL.

During 2018/2019 season, Jaye averaged 9 points and 6 rebounds per game for Le Portel in French top Pro A league.

During 2017/2018 season, Jaye played for Bakken Bears in FIBA Europe Cup/Denmark. He was their most efficient player and one of the top players in FIBA Europe Cup. He averaged 16 points and 8 rebounds per game with 55% shooting from the field, 42% from behind the 3-point line, and 77% from the free throw line. Bakken Bears won Danish Championship and Cup, and they made the semi-finals of FIBA Europe Cup. Jaye was named MVP of Danish league.

Before joining Bakken Bears, Jaye played for Massagno in Switzerland (22ppg & 11rpg), and Trapani and Forli in Italian 2nd division (16ppg & 8rpg). His rookie season Jaye played for Tortona in Italian second division and averaged 14ppg and 9rpg. Below are highlights from Italian 2nd divison.
