John is an extremely quick point guard who possesses a great overall skill set. He makes outstanding decisions and is very calm and under control. Since he can either attack defenders off the dribble or shoot from behind the 3-point line, defenders have a dilemma on how to guard him. In addition to his exceptional 3-point shot (45% – 50%), his mid-range pull-up game is outstanding. Because of his ability to read defense well, he is tough to guard in pick-and-roll situations and one-on-one play. In addition to his scoring ability, he is an exceptional passer and a teammate. Because of his speed and footwork, low stance, and intelligence, he is a tough solid defender. His greatest asset is that he is a fearless winner who always competes at the highest level and steps up his game against top teams/competition.
