Jaemyn Brakefied is a 6’8” long, athletic, crafty, versatile lefty power forward. He is outstanding in getting into the lane and playing off two feet to create his own shot or to get teammates in position to score using his passing. His offensive strengths are ability to shoot 3-point shots either off dribble or pick and pop situations. He can drive and finish around the rim or create his own shot by using shot fakes, step-backs, and pull-up moves. Jaemyn can face-up and use his high IQ and skills to get to his "sweet" spots, or drive and finish with either hand around the basket. He is highly coachable and keeps it simple as he reads defense well. Jaemyn runs the floor well and as a calm passer he makes excellent decisions in transition and half court situations. He is a versatile defender who uses his experience to stop variety of forwards.
In April 2025, Jaemyn played in the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament (P.I.T.) and led the tournament in rebounds with 11 rebounds per game. He also averaged 11 points per game.
